Lutheran Brethren International Mission is intentionally sending missionaries to Japan, Taiwan and Chad. Will you consider joining LBIM in this mission? Specifically, we are looking for:
- Two missionary units for our Chad field, one to join our team among the unreached Bagirmi people group, and another to serve in a missionary support role.
- Two missionary units for our Taiwan field, to join our missionaries in an urban and community focused ministry.
- One missionary for our Japan field, to serve in a relational and community outreach alongside one of our national Japanese churches.

Our Recent Missionaries
Paul & Alexa Fraser
In April 2023, Paul & Alexa Fraser accepted the call to serve as missionaries to Japan. Watch the video to hear their story and their heart for the people of Japan.
Matthias & Ellie Szobody
Earlier in 2023, both Matthias and Ellie accepted the call to serve in Chad, though not married at the time. Soon after, they were engaged and were married in August. They will spend the coming year in France learning the language and finishing some edcuation before moving to Chad in summer 2024.
