Rev. Phil Heiser was born and raised in Olympia, Washington. He was baptized at his grandparent’s and mother’s church, Immanuel LBC in Pasadena. He was raised in a Christian home and returned to the Lutheran Brethren through the “Alpha Way” Bible College program. He graduated from Washington State University in 1994 and began a career in information technology. After graduating from Lutheran Brethren Seminary in 2006, he served churches in Alexandria, Minnesota and Maple Park, Washington. He served as the Pacific Regional Pastor  for the Church of the Lutheran Brethren from August 1, 2015 until July 1, 2019 when he transferred to the position of Associate for Ministry Support. He and his wife Wendy live in Queen Creek, Arizona. They have two children.
