The CLB Statement on Sexuality

We, the Church of the Lutheran Brethren, affirm that standards of sexual morality must be consistent with Biblical principles. We deny that unscriptural standards may be accepted by the church simply because they have been accepted by society. (Download the CLB Statement on Sexuality)

Statement on Missional Theology

The 2008 Church of the Lutheran Brethren Annual Convention passed a motion that called for the formation of a Study Committee on Missional Theology which would draft an exegetical paper (and/or a position paper that is exegetically anchored) delineating the implications of these teachings for faith and life, which was to be considered by the 2009 Annual Convention of the Church of the Lutheran Brethren. The president's office selected seven individuals to serve in this task as a committee.
