The Office of the President’s calling is to provide leadership in fulfilling the mission of the Church of the Lutheran Brethren. Here are the people who strive to make this happen.

|  | Joel Egge President
About Joel Egge: Joel became president of the CLB in 2001. He devotes his time to taking care of matters pertaining to the congregations and denominational ministries. As a presiding pastor, he uses the office to encourage pastors, congregations and their cooperative ministries administrated by the denominational ministries. He presides at the Annual Meeting, receives reports from the various congregations, and submits an annual statement of his own work and of the state of the synod. As possible he visits every congregation to give encouragement and advice. Joel has previously served as president of LBS, and at congregations in Briarcliff Manor, NY, Pasadena, CA, and Marysville, WA. He is married to Barbara.

About Lori Anderson: Lori has served in the Office of the President for over ten years. She serves as the executive secretary for the president, coordinates office communications, and plays a major role in the planning and execution of the CLB annual convention.
