Board of Education

The Board of Education oversees the ministry of the Lutheran Brethren Seminary:

• It supervises and directs the academic phase of the educational institutions of the synod.
• It calls teachers and workers, determine the conditions of their call, and set their salaries.
• It nominates the president of our educational institutions, direct the publicity of our schools, and take such measures as will promote the educational facilities of our synod.
• It recommends the budget for the educational institutions of the synod to the Synodical Council.
• It has the authority to dismiss the president of Lutheran Brethren Schools.
• In the event of the death of the President of Lutheran Brethren Schools or his inability to serve out his term, the Board of Education has the authority to appoint an interim president to serve until the time of the next Annual Meeting.
